We had a great experience with Pace’s residential program for treating our son, whose substance use was secondary to other behavioral health issues. Pace was recommended by a mental health professional we were working with who said he had seen good results in his clients who had gone to Pace. From the first phone call the people at Pace were very responsive, understanding, and helpful. We called in the evening to leave a message to get info on Pace the next day and got a return phone call within a few minutes. We got a clear explanation of the program and the costs right up front. Once the decision to send our son there was made, the intake process was smooth and quick. The staff who worked with our son were amazing. His therapist during his stay there was a very thoughtful and insightful person. He did a great job identifying the problems and working on them with our son. The communication with the therapist was consistent and effective. The case manager did a great job of making sure the program worked for our son and helping him with his treatment and living needs. All of the staff we interacted with were top notch. All very helpful and responsive to our queries. The residence was clean and well maintained and in a nice neighborhood. Our son made friends with the other guys in the program and there did not seem to be major issues with roommates or others in the groups. When personality issues did arise, the Pace folks used those as teaching moments. We think our son benefited from his time at Pace. They are very professional and caring. Choosing Pace was a good choice at a pretty tough moment in time.

As a former client at Pace I encountered a great program and helpful staff who really seemed to care. I also was able to meet other peers who I could relate to in a very beneficial way. So much recovery and healing happened at Pace while I was there. To see how Pace tutored "Mike" in reading to help him fulfill his GED. And even little things I think back on and cherish such as "Bert" jokingly referring to himself as Mr. diarrhea pill and us both having a good laugh. Bert was the type of person who would give you the clothes off his back. Just another reminder that the disease of addiction doesn't have a face. It has impacted many good people. The most powerful moment of forgiveness I witnessed was when "Shawn" admitted to his girlfriend how the disease of addiction had lead him to rampant drug use and seeking out escorts over his desire to marry her and how she forgave him over time as she came to understand the terrible disease of addiction. All of these are examples of how Pace facilitates recovery through a 12 step program where we give our addiction over to a higher power. To laugh at our brokenness and progress to a better station in life is a chance Pace gave me and other clients. I gave pseudonyms for names because I want people to understand how Pace has changed real peoples lives. It has helped save not only my life but that of others as well.

Such a thoughtful and caring bunch of individuals at PACE. My son completed their program a short while ago. He had struggled at another program that he was at. The staff are highly credentialed and there are a lot of them. They really understand how to work with young adult males. We went for a family session with the Therapist and case manager and their skill level is unparalleled. I left there feeling so hopeful because my son is finally making progress. He is now in transitional living and working full time. Thank you!

I was fortunate enough to get a hold of PACE. A dear friend of mine was struggling with substance addiction and his family knew I was in recovery so they called me. Living life to the fullest! We could not be happier with our experience at PACE. From the first phone call with Lenny we felt at ease. The communication with the Staff has been remarkable. We are finally gaining and understanding of why our son has struggled so much with his depression and anxiety. The PACE Team was able to help Mike gain some understanding of a childhood trauma, which lead him to alcohol. Now he is back in school and flourishing. This place goes way above and beyond compared to any other program our son Mike has been in.

Excellent quality program. Treatment was seamless from start to finish. I sent my grandson to PACE after he began experiencing serious problems in his life shortly after dropping out of college. From the first phone call, they were very responsive and offered a program that was exactly what my grandson needed. By the time he completed, he was back in school, working, and rebuilding the relationship with our family.

My son completed an extended program at PACE some time ago and has finally turned his life around. From the first phone call, PACE's staff was wonderful to work with. They helped my son deal successfully with school issues prior to attending the program, then helped him take care of his DUI while he was there. They were able get to my son's underlying issues and identify what he needed to do a 180 in his life. After years of being unable to finish what he started, he is now finishing his degree and working. One year later, he still stays in touch with the program and participates in alumni events with the young men he went through treatment with. I would recommend PACE to anyone looking for a significant positive change in their life

My son attended PACE last year and I cannot say enough good things about this program. PACE was recommended to us by our educational consultant who did a fair amount of research looking for a program that would meet my son's needs. Initially I was concerned about the price of the program but soon realized that the level of individual service provided was much higher than some of the other programs we talked to. My son had been through a number of programs that did not work for him, all of which had been 30 day stays. PACE's minimum stay of 3 months allowed him to work through all of his issues as well as get back into college. Highly recommended.

I have referred clients to PACE Recovery not only on a professional level, but on a personal level as well. I have referred friends and family members and would continue to do so without question. I have visited the PACE facilities many times and can't imagine a better place to recover. Not only are the PACE houses beautiful, but the entire city it an amazing place to be a young man in recovery. Additionally, I have known the owner and CEO Lenny Segal for more than twenty years. I know him to be reputable, honest, hard working but above all...dedicated to treating young men with addiction issues. He is constantly working to improve the lives of each of the young men he treats. As Lenny himself has nearly 20 years of recovery, he knows exactly what it takes to maintain long-term sobriety and he and his team bring that knowledge and background to their treatment approach at PACE. Hats off to Lenny and the entire team for their tireless efforts.

Pace is an incredible program for young men. We have sent a number of our clients to Pace and they have all done well. I've also heard from parents who praised the program and thanked me and my staff for referring them there. I have worked in this field for 30+ years and I have a lot of respect for Lenny (founder of Pace). Lenny has an incredibly big heart, is ethical and compassionate, has walked in the same shoes as the young men he treats, has assembled a like-minded caring clinical team, and is a tireless advocate for the transformational healing that recovery can foster. He's an example of it. if you have a son who needs care, I could not recommend Pace more.

In January of 2015, I brought my son to PACE. He had just completed 90 day in patient treatment. Last week I flew from the east coast to visit with him. PACE and the community of people in recovery is amazing. I would recommended PACE to anyone who is seeking recovery. I am impressed by the level of professionalism and dedication that all the employees have to Recovery. Lenny carefully considers what the therapists brings to PACE. Staff is involved in truly getting to know the clients. They work as a team and each one gets to experience different aspects of our son. Communication with family is excellent. During the months that our son was in treatment I began my own recovery. PACE was instrumental in supporting my recovery from being “Queen” of enabling to learning how to set my own boundaries, which was critical for my own mental health as well as our sons recovery. Recovery takes courage and willingness and I am grateful my son has both. He couldn’t have done it without PACE. It was here that he learned the life skills of managing his life. When our visit had come to an end, I left knowing that our son has grown into a responsible adult. The work environment at PACE is incredibly positive and they all work as a team. His friends are amazing young people who walk the same path of recovery because they have learned that you cannot do it alone. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.

INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! My family and I for the first time are so hopeful. Our son was recommended to PACE by our Ed Consultant. From the first phone call, Lenny was so kind, caring and insightful. He helped navigate us through the process of admitting our son into the program. From there the staff were so attentive. We had regular contact with them and felt as though they really understood our son. What an incredible Team! Thank you to Will, David, Dr. Brooke, Dr. Sara and all the others. I'm finally on the right track!! The PACE program saved my life. For the first time my family and I have an actual relationship. The Therapists and case managers were amazing! I loved living so close to the beach. They had fun sober activities each weekend that I looked forward to. I'm now in sober living and taking a full coarse load thanks to Matt and the academic program offered at PACE. Thank you to everyone!

I Can't put into words the appreciation I have for The PACE Recovery Team. Without any doubt my Son would have died from an OD or be in jail for a long period of time if he had not went to PACE. The Staff are true professionals, caring and genuine people. After about 60 days in they offer a family week. That week was very informative and probably saved my marriage, it helped us understand what was going on around us for so many years that we didn't realize. PACE not only saved my Sons life. They gave us our lives back.

As someone who formerly worked in the treatment field, I have seen and come into contact with many rehab centers. Many are adequate, and some are sub par; rarely is there somewhere I would consider a complete class-act and truly special place. Having met Lenny at a conference years back, I can say that his passion and enthusiasm for helping young men get sober is contagious. And having worked with Jordan in the past, I know of no one better to help with the difficult and emotional process of getting a loved one into treatment. Pace is one of the places that stand out in a crowded treatment world, and for all the right reasons. I would trust them with a loved one or family member, with no hesitation.

An EXCELLENT experience for my family. We sent our son across the county from NYC for treatment at PACE. From the first phone call with Lenny we felt at ease. PACE sounded like the perfect program for our son. Our experience was top notch. Unfortunately we had done this several times before with our son. The communication was excellent. The staff there was incredibly knowledgeable. They really understood my son. Our son is now working full time and is thinking about going back to school. We were just out to visit him and we feel so hopeful. We want to thank Sarah as well for working miracles with our insurance company! These people really care. What we learned from them was to trust the process, and believe me we are!

FABOULOUS program!! I sent my son their just over a year ago. He has just celebrated one year of sobriety. From the first phone call, I felt at ease. Lenny was so knowledgeable and genuine. Once my son entered the program, he was greeted by the most wonderful staff. Dr. Brooke, Will, David, and all the rest of the staff were incredible. Not to mention Sarah who was able to work wonders with our insurance company!! I had regular phone calls with them and felt as though I knew what was going on with my son even though I am on the East Coast. He stayed at PACE for four months, and then ended up in sober living and attending their outpatient program. He is now living with sober roommates, in school and doing AWESOME! Thank you PACE for everything you have done and continue to do for John and our family!

Pace is a wonderful treatment center. I sent my son there five months ago and he has made tremendous progress. Our Educational Consultant highly recommended this program for its ability to work with dual diagnosis clients. My son had regular meetings with the Psychiatrist, Therapists and Drug & Alcohol Counselors. They did a phenomenal job helping him get to the root causes of his addictions. We participated in their family program, which helped our family gain some much needed education. Our Son is now in their school program working on his college degree. For the first time in a long while we are sleeping soundly at night. Thank you Lenny and the rest of the Pace Team. Your guidance and accessibility has helped this Mom feel hopeful in a very long time!

Our Family is Blessed to have Pace Recovery come into our lives and save our son. It has been a remarkable journey to see how far they have brought our Son. Everyone at Pace has been so nice. They truly care about their clients and there recovery. Our Son is now in Sober Living and his care is still at a high level. They are very professional, knowable, and compassionate. So proud of Lenny and the entire PACE Team! Just saw them on the Intervention Show yesterday and the Dr Phil show last week. I was a client for 90 days and it totally changed my life. I felt like I always had support. Loved the beautiful beach houses and met some really cool guys who were getting sober just like me. I now live in sober living and attend the PACE outpatient program. I've been to a lot of programs, but nothing like this. The entire PACE Team really cares about me and my family. When my parents were having financial difficulties, Lenny stepped in to help. I've read a couple of nasty posts from a couple of people. I actually know those situations. Don't believe everything that you read. Those guys were total nightmares with angry parents. I actually met both sets. Kind of makes sense why their kids were the way they were. Lenny and the PACE Team protected the rest of us from them. The Client comes first! Those aren't just words they say, but actually show it to all of the clients. They want us to have an environment that we can do serious work and that we feel safe in. Part of what my Therapsit Will and I are working on is me sticking up for myself. Being vocal and calling out false statements is my way of having a voice and doing the right thing. Thank you mom and dad for encouraging me to come to California and go to PACE! I'm now working full time, living in sober living and thinking about going back to school! Lenny and the PACE Team inspire me! They really really care. I was at sober party last night filled w PACE alumni waiting to watch my buddy on the Intervention Show. Lenny, Sean,David, Jackson, Brett and several other staff came over to eat dinner with us and to give support to my buddy who was on the show in case he needed it. Like I said, I've been to a lot of other programs and the owner and other key staff would never make time for us. These guys are different!!

After reviewing all our son's medical history and conducting interviews, our consultant solely recommended the PACE Recovery Program. He has been there nearly 90 days and is thriving. The program is tailored to his needs and the staff has been extraordinary. Our son's team of professionals are in constant communication with us and have been great in guiding him towards his recovery. We visited our son after his first 30 days and we were in awe of the camaraderie among the clients and staff. We are highly confident that we made the right decision in choosing PACE for our son's recovery!

We had a remarkable experience!! Our son flourished in the PACE program. The staff were wonderful! The facilities were beautiful! My family was just out to visit for Thanksgiving and we could not be more pleased with everything. I give this program a 10 on all areas! Remarkable program with remarkable people! I sent my son their almost 100 days ago from the advise of our Educational Consultant. We could not have made a better decision. Our son is doing fantastic. He is enrolled in their PACE Academy and is back in school. He is sober and happy for the first time in a long time.
